Competitive Analysis
IGN
http://www.ign.com/
Ign’s website is amazing. It is eye catching, colorful. Has everything you need to know about video games, consoles, accessories, deals, upcoming new releases, game reviews, walkthroughs, Game Trailers and news. It also is very easy to navigate around. Easy to read fonts and color, so no one will have problems reading. It has an option where you can change the background skin that brings you back more than once to the website. It has a great feature where it contains javeascript. It has a media center where you can see graphics of upcoming games. And if you click on the right image. The site will bring up a specific movie of the game u choose. Also has a search engine at the top, letting you search for any game, and expansion or magazine needed for a console or game. In the middle of the page is a option to watch any movie on any game the page is advertising. Its shows four to five different games that haven’t come out yet. It gives you a glimpse of the new game. Most of the links on this page either lead to another advertising game page, or link to a close neighbor of IGN who is getting support from another site. At the end the page is very pretty which would make this assignment fun to experiment with and make it a great learning experience.
